A small but significant conservation area in northern Johannesburg, Lonehill Nature Reserve is home to a rocky koppie, indigenous flora and Stone Age furnaces dating back to 1600. The reserve is fenced and only open on weekends, allowing visitors to hike to the summit, enjoy panoramic viewsand spot dassies, porcupines and diverse bird species.
