South Africa has assumed the G20 Presidency from 1 December 2024 to November 2025, just five years ahead of the United Nations (UN) 2030 Agenda deadline. In a significant announcement with global impact, Johannesburg has been selected to host the prestigious G20 Summit in 2025.
